Our story begins with an open records request that turned into another open records request and a complaint to the Attorney General over a refusal of records and a refusal reason I have never received before where I was told I needed legal clearance to obtain records by the open records custodian Stephanie Hartley. So I escalated it to her supervisor Tiffany Everidge and I did obtain the requested records. Per the Georgia Open Records Act!
