Henry Christopher Mogler: His Role in the Martin County Traffic Stop and $10,300 Records Dispute
On February 13, 2025, Martin County deputies stopped a vehicle at a Wawa in Stuart, Florida. Henry Christopher Mogler was one of four officers listed in the dispatch record. This investigation examines when he arrived, what the available body-camera image shows, and which questions remain unanswered.
The incident’s computer-aided dispatch record identifies Mogler as a responding deputy, personnel number 1300, unit S02, logged at approximately 1:32 a.m. He was not listed as the primary unit. The CAD entry alone does not establish that he initiated the stop, arrested the passenger, or objected to filming.
1. The stop: February 13, 2025
The Martin County Sheriff’s Office incident, numbered 2025-00021924, occurred at approximately 1:20 a.m. near the Wawa at 2401 South Kanner Highway, Stuart. Nicholas A. Thomas is listed as the primary responding deputy. Other officers identified in the dispatch record include Tatiana R. Levenar, Adam R. Tuttle and Henry Christopher Mogler.
According to the primary deputy’s incident narrative, the vehicle was stopped over alleged equipment violations, including window tint and modified exhaust. The report describes a dispute concerning passenger identification, followed by the passenger’s detention and arrest. The report is the deputy’s account and should not be confused with a court finding.

2. Mogler’s presence on body-camera footage
The supplied February 13 body-camera still shows a uniformed sheriff’s deputy standing at the nighttime gas-station scene with a marked patrol SUV and other personnel in view. The camera overlay reads 01:38:56. The photograph establishes the visible scene at that instant; it cannot establish the full conversation, what occurred before or after, or whether the depicted deputy took a particular enforcement action. The image was supplied as Mogler’s on-scene image.

3. What is established—and what is not
The CAD shows Mogler responding roughly twelve minutes after the incident began. That makes him an additional responding deputy, rather than the officer recorded as initiating the stop. The provided image places the investigation at the gas-station scene, but neither the still nor the CAD identifies a specific statement or arrest action by Mogler.
The broader investigation includes an alleged objection to filming attributed in Shields of Shame reporting to Tatiana R. Levenar. There is presently no verified basis in these materials to attribute that statement to Mogler. Similarly, the passenger’s arrest should not be attributed to Mogler without footage or a report establishing his participation.
4. FDLE employment and certification records
A Florida Department of Law Enforcement document for Henry Christopher Mogler is provided below as a primary-source resource. The file has not yet been independently extracted and reviewed for this page, so specific employment dates, training totals, certification standing, disciplinary history and separation reasons are not stated as verified facts. The document itself is available for examination.

5. Connection to the $10,300 public-records estimate
Shields of Shame sought additional records relating to the February 2025 stop and the responding deputies. Its separate Martin County investigation reports that the Sheriff’s Office issued an estimated charge of $10,300. That figure is a records estimate, not proof that the amount was paid or that a court determined it was unlawful. The linked records dossier provides the agency’s documentation and discussion of Florida public-records law.

7. Outstanding questions for the Sheriff’s Office
- What actions did Mogler personally take after arriving at approximately 1:32 a.m.?
- Does his own body-camera recording show interaction with the passenger or driver?
- Did he prepare a supplemental narrative or make any enforcement decision?
- Did he hear or participate in any discussion concerning filming police?
- What do the full FDLE employment and training records establish?
- Were additional records released after the $10,300 estimate?
Right of reply and editorial standards
Shields of Shame welcomes additional records, corrections and responses from Mogler and the Martin County Sheriff’s Office. A deputy’s presence at an incident does not itself establish wrongdoing. This dossier distinguishes dispatch entries, supplied visual evidence, other officers’ reported actions and questions still under investigation.

October 2026 primary-record update
At 1:33 a.m. CAD logs Thomas’s unit 512 requesting S01 or S02 (‘512 HAVE S01 OR S02 BE 51’). Henry Mogler’s S02 was dispatched at 1:32 a.m., arrived at 1:38 a.m. and cleared at 1:55 a.m. The record establishes a request for a supervisory response but not Mogler’s decisions or any wrongdoing.

The deposit letter claims 412 hours; its visible tasks itemize 208 hours 45 minutes of potentially chargeable work, plus a 30-minute meeting marked free. These figures require reconciliation, not an assumption of illegality.
