2 cops revoked for POSSESSION or USE OF STEROIDS in 2024.
Robert Arteche-Nunez and Benjamin Noah Shelnutt of the LaGrange Police Department in Georgia. prior to them there was only one other cop revoked for this reason. So to say it is rare is an understatement.
We all assume cops do steroids, but we never really knew until now! We not really because there are issues with the open records, as you would imagine.
There are no news articles about this at all. Nothing, it was quietly swept under the rug! Until now! Poor wittle news people don’t want to step on the cops toes! I will tho!
Robert Arteche-Nunez and Benjamin Noah Shelnutt – POSSESSION or USE OF STEROIDS DECERTIFIED 2024
First I requested their certs so I can see where they have been assigned and start doing open records requests on them from previous agencies to gain leverage and tell a much bigger story. Most of my videos are like this. I spend a lot of time and money investigating these bad cops!
We need to know who they are, see if there are images and information on Facebook just to start things off as sometimes the agency will scrub a bad cop and getting an image may be more difficult.
In the image below you see one of them has already ran for the state line and has become a cop in Florida. My first question is, do they know about his past?

We need to find out so I start doing open records requests.
The first one went to the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office on Robert Arteche-Nunez. Open records request for St. Lucie
The request: I am kindly requesting records related to Robert Arteche-Nunez personnel file all public complaints disciplinary file application for employment
The fee was $25.00

Note the body cam requires a $100 non-refundable deposit!! If they try me on that I will immediately report them to the AG!
Upfront payment $500 ONLY if the total is over $500 can they demand any up front money AND they have to get your permission to agree to pay any fee before they produce the records. I always pay after, rarely do I pay up front unless I have dealt with the agency before.
50-18-71 (d) In any instance in which the estimated costs for production of the records exceeds $500.00, an agency may insist on prepayment of the costs prior to beginning search, retrieval, review, or production of the records. Whenever any person who has requested to inspect or copy a public record has not paid the cost for search, retrieval, redaction, or copying of such records when such charges have been lawfully incurred, an agency may require prepayment for compliance with all future requests for production of records from that person until the costs for the prior production of records have been paid or the dispute regarding payment resolved.
Records from the St. Lucie request. His reason for leaving and his questionnaire are the key points. They both resigned while under investigation.
I did attempt to call IA at St. Lucie to inquire about this cop and his lies but they were all out to lunch. 2.24.25 at 12:09 PM
This is Nunez at the Lagrange PD

Here is Nunez being sworn in at the St. Lucie Sheriff’s Office in Florida

Thank you

So I tried to call Jeremy Butler, here’s how that went
Guess who really investigated this? That’s right, they did!! In fact, chief Fiveash himself was involved with the investigation!! This case has been over for years!

I Either keep getting run through to an answering service or they don’t answer calls from my number. I have tried several numbers too. But it’s ok, I just received the investigative files from the Georgia POST. You will soon hear the interviews, it’s all audio. Looks like I found a corrupt agency!
The issue here is that letter the captain wrote vs. the audio recordings I have.
Just to be fair, I also made a request to the GBI to see if there really is an ongoing case.

Much more to come…
