Complaint to the Attorney generals office in Georgia
On Sat, Oct 19, 2024 I requested records from mpomirko@wilcoxcountygeorgia.com in regards to James Carlile of the Wilcox County Sheriff’s Office. On Oct 21, 2024 I received communication from Michael Pomirko the County Manager and he stated he forwarded your information over to the Wilcox County Sheriff Office. They will be the ones you will hear from related to the Open Records Request.
On Oct 24, 2024 I received a response from Sherry Reid, WCSO Admin Asst. sherry.reid@wilcoxcountygeorgia.com, clarifying my request. On Nov 7, 2024 I sent a followup email as there has been no records released nor any further communication.
Sherry stated in her email I represent Wilcox County and the Wilcox County Sheriff’s Office. I thought that I sent an email advising that I was in possession of the documents requested and was redacting confidential information (such as SSNs, telephone numbers, etc.) prior to forwarding the document to you. I see now that the email was still in the sent box and I do sincerely apologize for that. Because I did not have a mailing address, this was the only means that I have for contacting you. Hopefully, you will receive this email and I will be finished with the redaction very soon.
No further communication or records have been received.
