Use the files here to determine what files you for your own investigation, if you need, body cam, use the arrest report date and case number and use of force reports. You can be anonymous but if they deny records you have no formal way of filing a complaint. Common items I request are 

ADMINISTRATIVE AND INVESTIGATIVE NOTICE 

ADULT Arrest report, all arrest made by officer in a time frame

Body cam audit trail, very large file, I request one month at a time

Body cam / dash cam – Use officer arrests to find incidents, I always pull the obstruction and disorderly arrests, that is where the civil rights violations are most likely to be!

Garrity form – Shows if a cop has even been a part of an Internal Affairs investigation, you can request this one page, no redactions and should be free, then use the date to request all video and audio interviews

Exit interview – May reveal details – I’ve Never requested this item

Gas card – I never ask for this

Separation list / Resignation letter – Usually a lie

ID and Probate card – I’ve Never requested this item 

Incident report – Contains additional dates and times as well as other officers involved and locations

1st page of all use of force reports , 30 day, 6 months etc.. Never request the entire report, just the first page as that is all I have ever needed. Has all information to request the body cam

Suspect mug shot – If cop has been arrested

Employee Administrative Investigation History (EAIH) – I’ve Never requested this item

Departmental police manual – Can be an expensive request but very useful, I have several on SOS

Response to resistance – I’ve Never requested this item

Vehicle activity report GPS – I have one for Savannah PD, not sure how many agencies use this, or have it installed, but request it as it should be cheap or free as there are little to no redactions needed

Employee listing name, salary and rank – Can be used to identify cops or verify agency – I have a lot of these and they are essential when starting an investigation where many officers are involved.  

AIC accusation – Internal complaints from cops on cops or inmates on cops

E-911 audio recordings – I request this often

E-911 Radio com – I request this often

E-911 CAD – Computer Aided Dispatch reports – I request this often

Requests can be sent via email and they have 3 days to produce, but they simply acknowledge and most violate this law but if it exceeds 5 days with no response, report them to the AG.
